Projet Griffintown est une proposition de redéveloppement à grande-échelle de Griffintown autour du Bassin Peel. Le projet initial controversé a subi des consultations au niveau de l'arondissement début 2008, et le secteur a été rezoné au printemps 2008 par un Projet particulier d'urbanisme (PPU). The projet n'a pas avancé depuis en raison de difficultés économiques. Maintenant, au printemps 2010, un projet à échelle réduite est proposée. En juillet 2010, règlement RCG 10-013 autorise l'emprunt de 30 000 000 $ pour financer l'amenagement du secteur Peel-Wellington.		Projet Griffintown is a proposed large-scale redevelopment of Griffintown near the Peel Basin. The original highly-controversial project underwent borough-level public consultations in early 2008, and the area was rezoned in the spring of 2008 using a Special Planning Project (SPP). The project has not advanced since due to economic reasons. Now in the spring of 2010, a reduced-scale project is proposed. In July 2010, règlement RCG 10-013 authorised a loan of $30 000 000 for the transformation of the Peel-Wellington sector.
